From setup to connection in four steps
Hosts set everything up from a web dashboard. Attendees only need a phone and the event PIN.

Create your event
Name the event, choose a conversation mood and pick from our curated question bank, or write your own prompts. Then set the conversation length, the number of winners and an optional prize.

Share one PIN
Every event gets a 6-digit PIN. Put it on a slide, a table card or a badge. Attendees go to wellmixed.app, enter the PIN, their first name and an emoji, and they're in.

Meet, talk, score
Each attendee gets a personal 4-digit code. To start a conversation, two people swap codes. A timer starts and question prompts appear on both screens, so there's never an awkward silence.

Crown the winners
When you end the game, everyone sees the final podium on their phone. Winners get your reward, whether that's a link, a voucher code or a prize at the front desk.
Built-in fairness
Scoring that rewards meeting new people
Every completed conversation with someone new earns a full 100 points. Talking to the same person again still counts, but each repeat is worth less. The quickest way up the leaderboard is to keep meeting new people, which is the whole point of the event.
- Conversations have to finish to count. Points are awarded only once the minimum conversation time you set has passed.
- Both people have to agree. Every request has to be accepted. If someone declines the same person three times, that person can no longer send them requests.
- Phones stay on. The screen stays awake during a conversation so the timer doesn't stop.

Frequently asked questions
Do attendees need to download an app?
No. WellMixed runs in the phone's web browser. Attendees open wellmixed.app, enter the 6-digit event PIN and start playing. It works on modern iPhone and Android phones.
What information do you collect from attendees?
Only the name they choose to show and an emoji avatar. Attendees don't create accounts or give an email address. Hosts sign in with a one-time email code instead of a password.
How long does a game usually run?
That's up to you. You set the minimum conversation length (one minute by default) and end the game whenever you're ready. For a reception or networking break, 20–45 minutes works well.
What happens if more people show up than my plan allows?
Once the event is full, new attendees see a message that it's full, and your dashboard shows how many people were turned away. You can upgrade on the spot, even mid-event, paying only the difference, and they can join right away.
Can I write my own questions?
Yes. Start from the curated question bank, edit any prompt, add your own, or mix both. Questions you write yourself are kept when you reroll the rest.
Can I run the same event format again?
Yes. Copy a past event to reuse its questions and settings. Each new event is billed separately and starts on the Free plan.
Do you offer invoicing or volume pricing?
Yes. For multi-event packages, events larger than 500 attendees, or purchase-order invoicing, email hello@wellmixed.app.
